Battery not detected 

symptom :

system cannot detect battery pack.

solution: 

1. Check if battery latch is securely fastened.

  

For undetachable battery, power off machine and remove AC power, then click on the reset hole at

machine bottom several times. This is to re-activate battery in case there is communication error

between controller chip. 

2. Check if battery pins on MB side is bent or broken. 

If so, follow CID process to complete the service. 

3. If possible, test the battery pack in another compatible machine. If the battery works in the new 

machine, replace the systemboard. Otherwise replace the battery (verify the warranty term).
